The dealer thought it had suffered 'transit damage' amounting to a split in the inside of cabinet...It actually turned out to be a line of light brown jiffy-bag paper that had been industrially stapled to inside of cab (probably to contain and secure the AC cord in transit) that had been torn away carelessly leaving a thin line...! I just pulled the staples out and voila! Perfect! That was a 60% discount!
