Had a block of mahogany and a Strat neck, this is what I came up with. Danish oil finish on body, standard Strat trem bridge. made back spring cover from the same piece of wood. Somewhat unusual pickup placement, but it plays and sounds really good. Turned out the spickguard was from some model Guild. Comfortable ergonomic shape, plays great.

Did not like it because the pickup sucked and it would never stay in tune. So I bought a humbucker sized P90, new tuners, and knobs. Had to do a lot of work with the head to get the tuners to fit. Everything else popped in smooth and now it sounds great and looks killer. And everyone knows a Junior is not a Junior without a P90.

I did a complete overhaul on it changed pick ups. Neck is a Dimazio cruiser, Bridge is a Dimarzio Air Zone, went from a 3 way switch to a super switch enabling single coil tap. new fender style bridge instead of tremolo I went fixed. 2 fret Warmoth pro jet ebony fret board with maple neck, stained with black and blue. Finished with tounge oil. Stignberger gear-less tuners and a head stock reminiscent of the Gibson reverse explorer.
