Nick Arrietta Has anybody tried the Ernie Ball Titanium or Cobalt strings? Just had my Fender Strat setup today by my friend and master tech and saw these strings on the shelf so i picked a pack up. Il throw them on in a few days when i kill the strings i just put on. If anybody needs a guitar set up and is in the Montrose CA area Grayson's Tunetown has one of the best techs ever. Mark Tullo I got a chance to run the new Tanglewood guitar through my '62 Fender Princeton this morning and was very impressed with the overall sound quality--just beautiful. However, when I added a TC Electronics 'Corona' chorus to the mix, it was incredible! A lush chorus effect with such a great acoustic guitar--not to mention the vintage Fender amp--damn! I cannot wait to start recording with this setup!

James Steele Well, a lot of people might think i'm crazy, because I'm Not rich and I Don't have 5 guitars ( I had 4) but a woman I work with was looking for a guitar for her 13 year old son's Birthday.  She didn't have a lot of cash, and I remember what it was like learning on a beat up acoustic with Limbo Height action. Well I gave her my upgraded  Epiphone Nighthawk to give him. I put duncans in it and upgraded the elecs. But I play my Les Paul all the time and that guitar was collecting dust. Better it make a 13 year old happy, than to just be an artifact in my closet. I feel a sense of loss, but I know the kid is gonna dig that guitar, and it's way nicer than anything his mom could have afforded to buy him. Good Karma??? Maybe, But I think the nighthawk went to a good home.
